Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use anniyan.online — the main site, the free tools under /tools/, and the games under /games/. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal text.

The short version

Our tools and games run entirely in your browser. When you use the Text Editor, JSON Formatter, Image Compressor, or any other tool on this site, your text, images and files are processed locally on your device — they are never uploaded to our servers. We don't have a database, and we don't sell or share your data, because we largely don't collect any in the first place.

Information collected through the contact form

The project enquiry form on our Contact section does not submit data to a server. When you click "Send Enquiry," it opens your own email client with a pre-filled message addressed to vasanth18nov@gmail.com. Nothing is sent unless you actually send that email yourself. Once you do, we handle it like any other email: it's used only to respond to your enquiry, and we don't add you to a mailing list without asking.

Data stored in your browser

A few tools save your work locally using your browser's storage (localStorage), so it persists if you close the tab and come back:

• Text Editor autosaves your draft.
• To-Do List saves your tasks.

This data stays on your device. We never see it, and it's never transmitted anywhere. Clearing your browser's site data for anniyan.online removes it permanently.

Third-party services we rely on

This site is static and hosted on GitHub Pages, which serves the files you're reading right now. A few tools and pages load resources from other providers to work:

• Google Fonts — for the typefaces used across the site.
• jsDelivr (CDN) — for two open-source libraries used by specific tools: pdf-lib (PDF Merger, Image to PDF, PDF Splitter) and qrcode-generator (QR Code Generator).

Loading these involves a request to Google's or jsDelivr's servers, which may log standard technical information (like your IP address) as any web request does. We don't control what those providers do with that; see their own privacy policies for details. No file or text content you enter into a tool is sent to them.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand overall site traffic and which tools and games are actually used, so we know what's worth improving. Google Analytics sets cookies and may collect information such as your approximate location, device/browser type, and the pages you visit. It does not have access to what you type into a tool, upload to a converter, or write in the contact form — those never leave your browser regardless of analytics.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking site-wide by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block it more generally using your browser's tracking-protection or an ad/tracker blocking extension. See Google's own Privacy Policy for how they handle this data.

Children's privacy

Our tools and games are general-audience and don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
